Flash
This browser can't flash the board. Use Chrome or Edge (desktop, or Chrome on Android) over HTTPS. Firefox, Safari and iOS browsers don't support WebUSB.
Browser report:
Connected to a robot's Systemcore instead? Use the SSH flow in the project's documentation.
This copy of the flasher has no release key configured, so it refuses to flash anything. Set publicKey in release-config.json.
- Enter flash mode (the button below stays disabled until the release has downloaded and checked out).
- Board already running firmware: hold your finger on its screen for 5 seconds, then tap Yes, reboot.
- New, blank or unresponsive board: unplug it, hold the BOOTSEL button, plug the USB cable in, then release.
- Connect. Press the button and pick the RP2350 boot device in the browser's list.
- Wait. The page erases, writes and checks the board by reading it back. Keep the cable plugged in and this page open. When it says done, the board restarts; unplug it only once its screen is back.

Troubleshooting
- Windows: if the board doesn't appear in the list, the boot-ROM interface may need a WinUSB driver (Zadig, on the interface named RP2 Boot (Interface 1) only, never interface 0).
- Linux: install 99-rp2350-bootsel.rules into
/etc/udev/rules.d/, runsudo udevadm control --reload-rules, replug. Snap/Flatpak browsers may block USB. - Android: use a USB-C OTG cable; a weakly powered phone can brown the board out.
- A failed or interrupted flash is recoverable: the board returns to flash mode on its own, or hold BOOTSEL while plugging in.
